Abstract
|
|
|
1. The collected 657 cases of Acute appendicits during past 7 years and 8 months (1962. 1∼
1969.8) were analysed on the statistical method.
2. The age distribution was from 4 months after birth to 80 years old. but the frequent of the
patient was concentrated in 2nd decade.
3. The most of the patient came to hospital within 3 days from its onset.
4. About 30% of the patient was operated at early summer season.
5. Ruptured cases were 11.2% of all of the patients.
6. The average hospital days in unruptured cases was 8 days and 2 weeks in ruptured cases.
7. Generalized and localized peritonitis and wound infection were common complications.
